hmmm. i have very fucked up standards. good thing i'm not actually planning on meeting anyone. cuz... other people? no longer for me. you never know how psychotic & petty they are under the surface.

feeling blah- ought to be on the way to work already, but not ready to go. kinda wish i could change my work schedule so that i could open during the weekend & avoid the whole crowded train situation. co-worker joked that it's ironic that the agoraphobic bookseller is now in charge of books on travel. not feeling very enthusiastic. tired. upsetting dream last night, that i won't even go into here so- you know it wasn't good. psyched only for next week's Almodóvar/Aimee Mann days. already sort of questioning the decision to stay. miss my mom. miss my brother. miss central a/c. think i've put myself in a situation where it will be even harder to say goodbye.
