i feel like i'm taking crazy pills!
because i listened to that damn Christina Aguilera song over & over again all the way to the grocery store this afternoon.
anyway.
Finished the last episode of Tales from Avonlea.
Went to buy groceries.
Talked to Dave about Orson Welles and told him that he (and everyone else) MUST read the National Treasure review on pictures & frames- www.picturesandframes.com
Showered.
Did the dishes, while listening to Holly Palmer.
Cooked lunch (Dirty rice!)
Watched this movie I TIVOed last week, but haven't had the chance to see yet- The Divorcee with Norma Shearer. Why do I love Norma so? Is it because she too is a wonky-eyed drama queen? Whatever it is, I adore her. AND added bonus- one of her co-stars in this film is Robert Montgomery, who was one of the most handsome and charming stars of early cinema. My first Norma sighting was a film they starred in together called PRIVATE LIVES- It's one of my favorite films ever & I think one of the funniest films ever.
It's Woody Allen weekend after this. There's a special at work- buy 2 dvds & get a 3rd free... I bought all three Woody Allen collections (with discounts and the free set I saved about 100 bucks!!) I may watch MATCH POINT first- which I've had since it was released, only haven't seen yet. (I need to use my last week of vacation to just stay at home, in my room and catch up on my movie-watching!) I'm excited as there are several films in the collections that I've never seen.
Missing Lily this weekend- She had asked me to go with her to a film festival in DC, but with a week's notice I couldn't find anyone to switch shifts with, so... bleh. I AM however going on a trip later this month- to Boston to see Aimee Mann play with the Boston Pops with my friend Shawn. Woo-hoo!!
Ok I'm off...
