i should've known/the writing was upon the stall/i should've known/that rome was starting to fall

X-Men: The Last Stand is like Carrie, without the prom. no seriously, I originally was saying that it's like 40% good, 60% crap, but then X+I decided that it's more like 10% good, 30% alright and 60% suck. these are my favorite comic book movies, why must they get screwed up like this?!? never, at any point during the first two XMEN movies did I feel like there was anything crappy/cheesy onscreen. with this one i was cringing every other minute. oh my GOD the villains? so fucking lame... it's not all the hack director, either. it's the screenplay... and the design- the character designs for the bad guys was laughable and awful and ridiculous and bugger it all to hell.

on the bright side, i finished the last Harry Potter book. so now I realize that I did this all wrong... I should have waited till the last book was due because now i will be one of those sorry bastards who has to WAIT FOR THE CONCLUSION!!!!! dammit. i think i'll read my Jane Fonda bio next.

but for now, i'm going to watch Peter Sarsgaard in the Dying Gaul. even if it sucks, Sarsgaard=hot enough to make me forget how bad XMEN was.

Looks like Friday night Lily, JM & Marta are going to watch L'Appartement with me. Love. That. Movie.

alright, I'm off. (did i mention the part where i spilled Kool Aid all over my laptop?)
