keeping in mind that i also have Indigo Girls, Aimee Mann, Holly Palmer, Joni Mitchell & Ben Folds sorted in the singer/songwriter category, i think it's surprising that NONE of them even make an appearance on the 25 most played songs in that genre. i guess it also says something about how much i love Beth Thornley's "My Glass Eye" album... which incidentally i've only had since like, May. my favorite playlist is called "Songs I Know By Heart" and includes every Bic Runga and Travis song on my ipod... but still, Travis doesn't show up as much on most of my playlists. Until...

watching my Woody Allen box. no surprise that i absolutely loved The Purple Rose of Cairo... all so good. my favorite line from any of the films so far has to be "If Jesus came back and saw what was going on in his name, he would never stop throwing up." I agree. Plus, the line is said by Max Von Sydow, which for some reason makes it even better to me.
