*Finished NORMA SHEARER and am more bummed than ever at the lack of Norma's films on dvd. I really REALLY want to see Marie Antoinette especially, but all the rest of the movies I haven't seen yet. I think Idiot's Delight will be on TCM sometime in May.

*My mom's coming to visit!! Hooray! Making plans is cheering me up a lot.

music du jour: I have spent most of the week listening to my favorite playlist, "Songs I Know By Heart" which is all the Bic Runga/Travis albums. It makes me very happy, calms me on the subways and basically puts some much needed bounce in my step.

celebrity sightings: Okay... 1: Jane Fonda, book signing. She was a great speaker, I got a signed copy of the book. Fabulous. Yesterday I missed a celebrity sighting- Julian Casablancas of The Strokes was in... but whatever. Today, there was a guy- I know he's a character actor, seen him many times before, but couldn't place him. :( sorry.
